Harry Potter Last Line Competition

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on July 21st: join this competition to celebrate this unique literary event.

The Library will award prizes to the value of $1,500 to KGV students for sentences which conclude the Potter series. Sentences should be:
Creative
Interesting
Plausible, and/or
Humorous

You are free to write any conclusion you want! The only restrictions are that your sentence:

• Cannot exceed 75 words
• Must be original
• Must indicate whether Harry and Voldemort live or die. You don’t have to blatantly state, e.g., “Harry lives and Voldemort dies.” You can be subtle and allow the reader to infer their fates from your sentence.

Deadline: Your entry must be emailed to chansl3@kgv.edu.hk by 3:20 p.m., Monday, June 4th

• Put “Harry Potter Contest” in the subject line
• Be sure your name and tutor group is on your entry
• Attach your entry in a word document or paste it into the body of the email
• Only one entry per student

Winners will be announced on Friday, June 8th, and their entries will be posted (with permission) on the KGV Library website.
